Doctor Deon Venter’s medical career is a long and extensive one that stretches from his student days in Pretoria to his first locum at Addington Hospital in Durban, and then on to England where he worked as a resident medical officer in a private hospital.
After relocating to Struisbaai, Dr Deon did an 11-year stint as the senior doctor for a major international cruise company which was the ground root for his advanced level of emergency medicine skills.
In 2019, he opened Dr Deon Venter Medical Practice with his wife, sister Lorraine by his side. Together the couple provides the community with superior medical services, albeit with old-fashioned attention to patient interaction. This friendly manner is the reason why more and more people are choosing Dr Deon Venter Medical Practice as their GP of choice.
When Dr Deon isn’t treating his patients in Struisbaai, you will find him assisting medical staff at Hermanus Mediclinic where he is a locum on Saturdays.
