Arniston Spa Hotel’s trademark is its selection of local sea fare. Our chef gets his inspiration from the world’s largest larder, the sea, and begins his day at the fishing boats. Here the morning’s catch, along with the availability of fresh shellfish, is the soul of a sophisticated menu blending old Cape Malay favourites with some modern eclectic innovations, complemented by an award-winning wine list. Guests may enjoy an elegantly presented meal in the hotel dining room, which also overlooks the Indian Ocean. Menus are changed regularly, and a copy of the evening’s menu is available at the reception.

Conferences

The Conference Room offers the perfect atmosphere for meetings, incentives, presentations, product launches or team building workshops. The Conference Room seats 100 delegates cinema style or 60 in a cocktail setting.

Gifts and Curios

Located in the foyer, our gift shop stocks a beautiful collection of curios, camera film, clothing and postcards, etc. The shop is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Email & Internet Services

There is a computer room set up on the second floor with instructions on how to access the internet. We now also have wireless internet in all public areas as well as all rooms.

Weddings

The four-star Arniston Hotel is set in the Overberg in one of the Cape’s most exquisite locations next to the old fishing village of Kassiesbaai, which makes for beautiful photographs with its white chalked thatch-roof houses. With the Indian Ocean splashing on your doorstep and white sandy beaches, you couldn’t ask for a more romantic venue. Private, intimate dinners in the Wine Cellar can be arranged. The Cellar can accommodate 34 people banquet style.

COVID-19 Update from the MD

The Arniston Spa Hotel will remain open for business, except during periods of lockdown that have been stipulated by the government.

We have always adhered to the strictest principles of hygiene and cleanliness at our hotel. We have enhanced our cleaning schedules and implemented additional cleaning and hygiene practices by:

- Making hand sanitizers available.

- Increasing cleaning of surfaces in public areas.

- Enhancing cleaning of high touch-point areas.

- Constantly reviewing and stepping up hygiene.

- Providing complimentary face masks to overnight guests.
