Joleta Kruger has always been passionate about hairdressing and completed her training and hairdressing studies at Tygerberg College where she received her N1 and N2 hairdressing certificates. Joleta has been active as a hairdresser for over twenty years.

After moving to Struisbaai she worked locally for two popular hair and beauty salons before opening Hairwave in 2007.
