About Us

We strive to be the country's leader in innovate private Primary Health Education and Health Promotion, creating a world where everyone has an opportunity to live a healthy inspired life. 

Situated in the Cape Agulhas area, but also online available, our services include Workshops, Short courses, Masterclasses, Individual Counselling and Consultation regarding the prevention, management and conquering of health conditions, e.g., Diabetes, Heart Disease, Cancer, Tuberculosis, HIV and AIDS, as well as pandemics such as Covid-19.

Our founder, Dr Mariana Pietersen - PhD Medical Sociology, University of Pretoria; M&E Health Programs, University of North Carolina, USA - has more than 40 years practical experience in health education, promotion and research. A network of health professionals act as consultants at the centre to provide a comprehensive service. The centre is based in the Cape Agulhas area for in-person service, but professionals are also ready for virtual sessions. 

Health Education and Research Centre

Workshops, Short courses, Masterclasses, Individual Counselling and Consultation with inter alia the following content:

Groups and Individuals: Knowledge and skills to prevent, manage and conquer a health condition, e.g., Diabetes, Heart Disease, Cancer, Tuberculosis, HIV and AIDS, as well as pandemics such as Covid-19.

Individuals: Management of emotions related to depression, anger, stress, recovery after surgery, or an accident, and to carers of the elderly, disabled or ill.

Adult women: Knowledge regarding intimate health and wellbeing.

Adults: Skills to maximise brain function after a traumatic incident, illness, or stressful time.

Children (Grade 6 and higher) and Students: Skills to synthesise large quantities of academic material.

Community Oriented Primary Care (COPC): Training of Community Health Workers and Facilitation of COPC.

Research: Public Health, Selfcare management and Personal Health.
