Welcome to THE WEEKENDER - ARNISTON
A new festival in the heart of the Overberg
The new, family-orientated festival takes place for three days in the beautiful Arniston and features live music from some of SA’s most-loved performers.
Beautiful, relaxing camping facilities are available at the festival. Alternatively one can opt for the luxury hotel or one of many B&B’s.
The Arniston area is steeped in history and indigenous heritage. From the sinking of the ill-fated Arniston in 1815 to the witnessing the incredible Khoisan fishing pools, there is so much to see and learn.
THE WEEKENDER - ARNISTON is about more than tourism. There’s a large emphasis on impacting the community and surrounding areas, creating massive economic and social benefits. The festival focusses on collaboration with community stakeholders from Kassies Baai and the region targeting coastal economic development and social outcomes.
The Weekender: Arniston is staged by the Kaggen Music & Culture Trust in Association with the Cape Agulhas Municipality.
Arniston is a scenic two hour drive from Cape Town.
