This is a moderate 10 km / 4 hour reasonably flat hike in the mountains along the banks of the Palmiet River. There is a gradual incline on well marked and laid out paths. There is a great place to stop half way through this trail and you get to dip your toes or enjoy a swim in the river at ‘The Beach’. Our picnic stop too.
No dogs allowed and there is no water or shade en-route.
