Don't miss a fun-filled day out with the family and your feathered friends!
Saturday, 28th October 2017 promises to be a fun-filled day out for the family as CapeNature and the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB) co-host a Penguin Palooza event at the Stony Point penguin colony.
The event is part of the monthly celebrations around African Penguin Awareness Day which took place on 7th October 2017. Visitors can look forward to a unique experience when the rehabilitated African penguins are released back into the wild.
There’s plenty to see and do for the whole family, including exciting activities for the kids, arts and crafts exhibitions on display and so much more.
The first 100 visitors will receive complimentary entry into the colony. Thereafter entrance is R20 per person.
