Harold Porter Botanical Garden is a beautiful, secluded garden set between mountain and sea, in the heart of the Cape Fynbos region within the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. It consists of 10 hectares of cultivated Fynbos garden and 190.5 hectares of pristine natural Fynbos with several kilometres of nature trails providing scenic views of forests, mountains and coastline.
Leading up and over a mountain ledge is the Zig-Zag trail that takes one through fantastic Fynbos and views overlooking the garden and towards the coastline at Betty's Bay.
Come and join Gantouw Tours and Excursions on a lovely, interactive educational guided hike of the Zig-zag Border Trail up to Platberg. Dont forget to bring the binoculars and cameras! As a treat Gantouw Tours will provide some coffee and a sweet treat to enjoy with your lunch.
