Things to Do Places to Eat

The Hermanus and Overberg Community Veterinary Clinic Outreach program is proud to be holding their first major fund-raising event on 24 September 2018. Wildekrans Wine Estate will host this inaugural event which will consist of a 6km fun run/walk, an 11km run and a 21,1km.

All 3 events will take to the trails on the beautiful Wildekrans farm, winding their way through vineyards before the longer routes head up some climbs and tackling beautifully flowing single track in places, before heading back down to the finish at the Winery.

Funds raised by HAH will go towards the annual Spay-A-Thon which takes place in and around Hermanus each year, sterilising dogs in needy communities.

Dogs are welcome to accompany their owners on the 6k route at an additional R50 entry fee.

The following distances will be available:

Schedule
  • 7:00 – Late registration and number collection opens
  • 9:00 – Start – 21km
  • 9:15 – Start – 6km
  • 9:30 – Start – 11km
  • 12:30 – Cut-off time for 21km
  • 13:00 – Prize giving
Registration and costs

Entries are limited to 450 people and online entries are advised.  Online entry will be open until Wednesday 22 August midnight. After this time entry will only be possible on the day of the event at an additional R10 fee, should there be place available.

Tickets:

  • 5km | R60.00 | Entry for the 5km distance
  • 10km | R110.00 | Entry for the 10km distance
  • 21km | R180.00 | Entry for the 21km distance
  • Dog entry | R50.00 | Bring your dog(s) along. One entry per dog
  • Donation | R50.00 | Donation to the Hermanus and Overberg Community Veterinary Clinic
