Calling all event organisers in the Western Cape! Applications for Wesgro Leisure Tourism Event Partnerships are now open!
The Department of Economic Development and Tourism is inviting hospitality businesses to nominate staff to participate in an accredited CATHSSETA Customer Service (NQF level 4) programme. Training will be conducted in the following districts:
• City of Cape Town (2 groups of 25 participants per group)
• Overstrand (2 groups of 25 participants per group - Bredasdorp and Hermanus will be the likely venues)
• West Coast (2 groups of 25 participants per group - Piketberg or surrounds and Saldanha Bay will be the likely venues)
With the exception of transport arrangements, all costs associated with the training will be fully covered by DEDAT. The training will take place during September/October and participants will need to be able to commit to 7 full working days of training in addition to the time required to complete a portfolio of evidence. The training programme is accredited by the Culture, Art, Tourism, Hospitality, and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority.
