From August 1st to 4th, 2024, Elim will come alive with the Elim 200 Year Heritage Festival.
The Department of Economic Development and Tourism is conducting research on the use of Covid-19 vaccination certificates (also known as 'Covid-19 passports' or 'health passports') as a way of opening up the economy and allowing people who have been fully vaccinated to travel and participate in social activities more freely.
We are inviting travel, tourism, leisure and hospitality businesses based in the Western Cape to share their views on this subject. The survey will assist the Western Cape Government in formulating a position paper on the potential use of digital vaccine certificates/health passports.
