Miskey’s coffee shop and padel court was founded in 2025 by Elmaine Miskey, already known for her signature braai spice, which she launched in 2020.
Inspired by her love of people and a sprinkling of Cape Town sidewalk café magic, Miskey’s is a place to connect, relax, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Here, the coffee is strong, the cakes are freshly baked, and the vibe is upbeat, modern, and welcoming. Whether you are meeting friends, having a business chat, or just in the mood for a treat, every visit feels special.
Outside Miskey’s, Elmaine’s favourite moments are spent relaxing and exploring Bredasdorp with her husband and their twins.
Revaldo hails from Cape Town and brought his coffee skills to Bredasdorp in 2023.
He has been perfecting his craft since the age of 16, learning from his dad, Allenrico Thomas, who ran CHAMPS Musical in Stellenbosch. There, Revaldo quickly became known for keeping clients smiling with his flawless coffee art.
Before joining Miskey’s, Revaldo worked as a chef at Carl Bremer Hospital and later at Seattle Coffee at Fresh Stop. But his true passion has always been barista life, crafting beautiful coffees and brightening people’s days with his friendly smile.

What is Padel?
Padel blends the best bits of tennis and squash. Played in doubles on a compact court (about a third the size of a tennis court), it’s action-packed, social, and beginner-friendly.
The rackets are solid (no strings attached), the walls are part of the game, and serves are always underhand. Scoring works just like tennis, but the vibe is more relaxed, making padel one of the easiest and most enjoyable sports to pick up at any age.

Miskey’s coffee shop is pet-friendly, and the fabulous toy Pomeranian manager, Yoggi dog, is on duty to welcome all friendly furry visitors and their owners.
