Keeping your bike in top-notch condition doesn’t stop with routine maintenance! Performing a quick monthly check-up can help prevent small issues from becoming big repairs.
Spark Plugs: Check your spark plugs for cleanliness and function. If they’re dirty or if you’re having trouble starting, it might be time to clean, adjust, or even replace them.
Control Cables: Inspect the clutch and throttle cables. Check your manual to confirm the free play allowance, and adjust if needed.
Idle Speed: Start your bike and check the idle speed to make sure it’s at the recommended level. If it’s running too high or too low, you may have an underlying issue.
