Fuel System TLC for Your Bike
If your bike’s been standing for a while, the fuel can go bad, especially in South Africa’s warm, humid weather.
Your motorcycle’s battery won’t last forever, but with the right care, you can make it last longer and avoid getting stuck. Here’s how:
• Charge Regularly - If you don’t ride often, use a trickle charger to keep the battery healthy.
• Check Connections - Loose or dirty terminals can cause starting problems. Keep them clean and tight.
• Avoid Deep Discharges - Letting the battery run too low too often shortens its lifespan.
• Store Smart - If you’re not riding for a while, disconnect the battery or park in a cool, dry place.
A well-maintained battery can last 3-5 years, don’t let yours die early!
