Fuel System TLC for Your Bike
If your bike’s been standing for a while, the fuel can go bad, especially in South Africa’s warm, humid weather.
Check out the work done on this 2011 Honda CBR 1000RR.
Replacements:
• Oil and oil filter
• Battery
• Seal behind the front sprocket (fixed oil leak)
• All fairing bolts
• Rectifier + sorted wiring issues
Repairs and Maintenance:
• Tightened loose bolts on the right-hand side cover (fixed oil leak)
• Fixed headlight wiring
• Drilled out broken bolts in the frame and re-threaded them
Fuel and Engine System:
• Cleaned both sets of injectors
• Flushed the fuel line
• Removed old fuel and cleaned the tank
Final Touch:
• Cleaned spark plugs for better performance
