Deon and Linda Kloppers are a warm and friendly couple who want to share their lovely home with you. After moving to Gansbaai from Groblersdal in 2012, Linda and Deon began their search for a place they could call their own.
In 2014, they noticed the house on Vyver Street in De Kelders, and it was love at first sight. Buying the house wasn’t as easy as they had initially hoped it would be, and there were times when it looked as if their dream wouldn't materialise. Never giving up hope and always remaining full of faith, a modern-day miracle finally happened, and they were blessed with the opportunity to buy Amazing Grace B&B.
There is an immense feeling of gratitude that permeates the air when you visit the B&B, and their motto of “paying it forward” is evident in the added extras that guests are treated to.
Amazing Grace B&B is tastefully decorated, featuring beach-house-style furniture professionally crafted by Deon, with Linda’s photography proudly displayed in the rooms.
The lush, leafy garden is a work in progress and a birder’s paradise, giving you the feeling of being on an island when standing on the back veranda.
Linda and Deon are committed to protecting the ocean and the environment. They use minimal plastic and avoid single-use items, so you won’t find tiny shampoo or conditioner bottles to take home.
They love keeping the area’s walking paths in top shape and regularly organise beach clean-ups. Guests are invited to join in by picking up at least one piece of plastic on their walks, helping to keep both the paths and the ocean sparkling clean.

The Dolphin Unit at Amazing Grace B&B is a spacious ground-floor room with views of the garden.
It has a seating area and a hot beverage station.
There is a king-size bed which can be separated into two single beds.
The open-plan bathroom features a shower and basin, with a concertina divider for privacy, while the toilet is in a separate room.

The Whale Family Unit is a two-bedroom flat on the top floor of Amazing Grace B&B. It is accessible from the veranda, as well as from the garage, which has an automated door.
A portable braai is provided on the private patio, which overlooks the garden and Walker Bay, and guests also have access to the home’s communal patio.
The open-plan living area features a lounge and a kitchenette, with an induction stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle.
The first bedroom has a queen-size bed. There is an ensuite bathroom with a shower and basin, while the toilet is in a separate room.
The second bedroom has two single beds that can be joined to form a king-size bed. There is a shower, basin and toilet in the ensuite bathroom.
Deon and Linda are on hand to make sure you don’t go hungry while on your stay at Amazing Grace B&B.
Breakfast is a hearty feast and is included in the accommodation rate.

“Amazing Grace B&B in Gansbaai is net ongelooflik! Ek is absoluut malverlief op hierdie plek. Die pragtige see uitsigte asook die gasvryheid van die eienaars, Linda en Deon, sal vir baie lank ‘n mooi herinnering bring van my eerste besoek aan Gansbaai. Die kamers is groot en silwerskoon met oulike leefareas, balkonne en ‘n ten volle ingerigte kombuis. Daar is selfs ‘n oulike werkshoekie indien jy nodig het om jou skootrekenaar oop te slaan. Geniet ‘n koppie koffie vroeg in die oggend, met die lekkerste tuisgebakte beskuit, soos die son se gesig stadig oor die see se blou oppervlak loer. Hulle verskaf ook ‘n heerlike omvattende ontbyt en soos wat jy jou vingers af eet kan jy weereens weggevoer word deur die beeldskone see uitsig asook oulike suiker voëltjies wat nou en dan kom groet. Die onbeskryflike privaat strande is slegs 1.5 km vanaf die gastehuis. Hierdie plek is ‘n stukkie hemel om die minste te sê. Bespreek vandag jou plek by die beste gastehuis in Gansbaai.
