Welcome at Blue Goose

Set in a 100 year old limestone fisherman’s cottage, the restaurant has the true ambience to make you feel at home. Your hosts, Riaan and Ké, are firm believers in simple yet elegant cuisine. We aim to show the natural beauty of local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients in an appropriate and sumptuous manner.

The delicious meals include fresh seafood, tender meats from the grill and of course, the chef’s specialities, like traditional Karoo Lamb Shank. We serve delectable vegetarian dishes and are more than happy to accommodate any dietary needs. The meals are accompanied by local wines, with a considerable "by the glass" offering.

The restaurant is fully licensed and offers a variety of local beers and ciders. The dining area and enclosed outside deck can accommodate up to 60 people, which provides the perfect venue for that special occasion.

We are open for lunch on Sundays from 12-3pm.
