Captured Photography’s Sonja Walker was first bitten by the photography bug when she was about ten years old. After having the opportunity to use a classmate's camera on a school outing, photography soon became a form of escapism from her tough childhood. Sonja became known as the girl with the camera.
Sonja finds the whole concept of capturing moments, especially those moments that involve family, intriguing because other than one faded photo she has of herself as a baby, she has none of her childhood.
Sonja lists one of the happiest days of her life as being the day she purchased her first camera, a second-hand Canon 550D.
It seems she has passed her passion for photography on to her daughter Anja, and the two photographers are excited to meet you and capture all your most special moments.

Fresh 48 captures the first 24 - 48 hours of your baby’s life without having the entire labour or birth documented. These intimate lifestyle sessions are unposed and without props, and Sonja will capture your baby’s sweet new moments in a fresh natural way!
