“We were at Crayfish Lodge for the third time and still loved it as much as the first time we visited! Sandra and Reinhard are very caring and charming hosts and the team at the guesthouse are all extremely friendly and attentive. Hardly anything can beat the view over the bay where you can literally watch the whales breach while having a delicious breakfast!” Lisa, TripAdvisor
“We stayed for only one night in this small boutique guesthouse run by a lovely German couple who are so incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms have large balconies with beautiful views and are modern and very well appointed. The standard of breakfast was amazing and all home cooked with lovely fresh bread, jams, fruit juices etc. Pancakes were thrown in as a special. We were all so full that we did not have room for the cooked breakfasts on offer. The hotel is situated overlooking the bay and the sunset was amazing. There is a coastal walk that takes about an hour to a tea and cake shop and then an hour to return. It has stunning views and we saw the last of the whales whilst we walked. Highly recommended.” Joheller, TripAdvisor
“Great hospitality from the owners, and staff. Beautiful and luxurious rooms and the views are unbelievable spectacular. Best choice in Gansbaai en surroundings. Stayed in the Panorama Room which was very private, could have sat there for hours, days even weeks, just to gaze at the magnificent ocean and the whales.” Marien, TripAdvisor
