ROUTE DESCRIPTION TO FARM 215 FROM CAPE TOWN

Farm 215 - Nature Retreat & Fynbos Reserve

Distance from Cape Town : about 180 km

1. from Cape Town / Cape Town airport take the N2 to the east
direction [airport] / Somerset West
after approximately half an hour you are in Somerset West
climb and descend Sir Lowry's pass (part of N2) | drive past Grabouw and Elgin
climb and descend Houwhoek pass (part of N2)

2. at Bot Rivier, leave N2 and take turn off to Hermanus (R 43)
drive through Hermanus
out of Hermanus, continue on R 43
25 km after Hermanus, you will see Stanford to your right (keep it there)
after you have passed Stanford continue on the same R 43 towards Gansbaai
drive through Gansbaai and continue on the same R 43

3. 5 km after Gansbaai : turn left to "Elim, Baardskeerdersbos"
After 8km this road turns from tar into a gravel road (ignore turn off to Avoka)
Continue on the gravel road up to the hill
After you have passed the vineyards, you will see a brown tourism sign "Farm 215"

4. turn left at the first possibility after this sign
gate at road-entrance has sign: "farm 215"
follow this road for approx. 2 km

5. turn right at sign "farm 215"
follow road to main house
