Distance from Swellendam : about 130 km | On gravel road : 24 km / 20 - 30 minutes (suitable for all normal cars but check for potholes)

1. Drive west on the N2 from Swellendam
2. 10 km after Swellendam, leave the N2 and turn left to Bredasdorp (319)
3. In Bredasdorp follow the signs to Struisbaai / Elim
4. 4 km outside of Bredasdorp, turn right to Elim
5. Continue on this road for 36 km
6. Once in Elim, turn right in the direction of Gansbaai
7. Out of Elim it becomes a gravel road
8. After 16 km on this road there is a turn to the left to Gansbaai / Pearly Beach: IGNORE this sign and carry on straight to Baardskeerdersbos
9. Carry on for about 9km after Baardskeerdersbos and you will see a brown tourism sign "farm 215"
10. Turn right at the first possibility after this sign
11. Follow this road for 2km
12. Turn right into the reserve at sign and follow signs up to reception
