Fridays are lekker for so many reasons, and here is one more, the weekly mini-bazaar at the Pretorius Hall in Gansbaai! The mini-bazaar has been a firm favourite with the local community for many years. Where else can you shop for fresh produce, plants, handcrafted items, pre-loved goods, jams, condiments, freshly baked pies and sweet treats? The Friday morning mini-bazaar is where the community get-together each week to stock up and catch up! Bring your basket and do a little shopping, or sit down with a cup of tea and a cinnamon pancake while you listen to groovy tunes courtesy of Oom Eddie. Don’t forget to buy extra pies, pancakes and bazaar pudding to enjoy at home! There are even delicious jaffles and healthy quiches for quick lunch and dinner alternatives. Remember, when you support local, you take home a basket full of the same ingredient gran uses in all her recipes, and that ingredient is LOVE!
