Gansbaai Market / Gansbaai Mark was established in 2018 when the Grootbos Foundation approached the Gansbaai Municipality and Gansbaai Tourism Bureau with funding and the incentive to start a community project. 

Glenda Kitley, Gansbaai’s long-standing tourism manager, ensures the market runs smoothly with input from Gansbaai area manager Kat Myburgh and the tourism committee.

  • Premium Space (wooden stalls - waiting list) - R100 
  • Standard Space (bring your own table and gazebo) - R60
  • Car Boot Sale (trading space) - R30
Guidelines
  1. Pre-approval of goods to be sold is needed from the organisers before trading
  2. Suggested setup and breakdown time should be adhered to (unless otherwise stipulated)
  3. Sustainable and reusable products so no single-use plastic bags are allowed
  4. Friendly community-inspired behaviour at all times
