Chronic Medication

Gansbaai Pharmacy:

Has Med Express status - this means that Discovery members don’t have to worry about being charged a levy when ordering their chronic medication.
Works closely with the GEMS (Government Employees Medical Scheme) and can help you set up Gansbaai Pharmacy as your DSP (Designated Service Provider).
Provides chronic medication to RFMCF (Regular Force Medical Continuation Fund) members. Please note that an authorization number is required for this.

Gansbaai Pharmacy has an onsite day clinic run by a qualified clinic sister who will take care of all your basic medical needs.

Among others, our services include:

Baby wellness, immunisations and advice for new mothers
Family planning
Adult immunisations and vaccinations
Health monitoring (Cholesterol, blood pressure, HIV, uric acid, urine, glucose and haemoglobin/iron tests)
Vitamin B therapy
Basic wound care

Clinic services are available from 8:00 to 16:00 on weekdays and 8:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays.

Physiotherapy

Esti Claassen offers professional physiotherapy sessions from Mondays to Fridays in the clinic at Gansbaai Pharmacy. Both medical aid and private patients are welcome.
