The spacious home has a spectacular view of Walker Bay and has a large open-plan, living and dining area. There is a TV with full DSTV in each of the Home’s rooms as well as in the main living area. There are six cosy bedrooms and a separate flatlet in the swimming pool courtyard which has two bedrooms. A high-care unit is available on-site and can accommodate three patients. Huis Lambano comes highly recommended by Hermanus Hospice and they work closely with local doctors who monitor and treat the residents. The carers at Huis Lambano aim to maintain and improve the resident’s wellness by incorporating all the essential health principles into everyday life... such as fresh air, sunlight, exercise, adequate rest, a nutritionally balanced diet, and trust in the Divine Power.
The cook's goal is to create delicious dishes that remind the residents at Huis Lambano of the favourites they’ve been cooking and eating their whole lives. Wholesome classics such as boontjie bredie and melkkos often make an appearance on the menu.

Residents spend their days reading, playing a few hands of Gin Rummy, crocheting, listening to RSG, watching Sewende Laan or quite simply, enjoying some quiet time while watching the world go by.
