Recently located to De Kelders Linda, is a self taught Artist.Her inspiration for painting began in 2000 after a discussion with a friend on holiday who had just taken up art classes .At first she focused on wildlife, (including the Big 5). However raising children and other business ventures left little opportunity for her to grow her own art as it took up most of her time. She stopped after about a year. Once Linda relocated the passion was reborn in her and with the beautiful, peaceful surroundings of the Overberg region she began painting again, this time it was the sea, ships and the Marine Big 5. After the positive feedback from family and friends Linda decided to peruse her passion full time .Her artwork portrays many places she has visited over time. Her medium of preference is Oil Paint. She is also part of the South African Society of Artists. View by appointment only.
