Suites and Rooms @ Saxon

There is a choice between a family suite, superior suites and standard rooms at Saxon Lodge.

Family Suite

(sleeps four)

The family suite is a two-bedroom apartment which opens to a private patio in the garden. There are two single beds in the living area.

The bedroom has a King-size bed, and the ensuite bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.

Superior Suites - Bed & Breakfast

(sleep two)

The Superior Suites have private patios with lovely views of the garden, plunge pool and Walker Bay. 

Each suite has a lounge and a King-size bed which can be separated into two single beds. Some suites have bathrooms with a bath, shower, basin and toilet, while others have a shower, basin and toilet. 

Two of the suites are self-catering and are available for extended-stay guests.

Standard Rooms - Bed & Breakfast

(sleep two)

The Standard Rooms share a communal lobby kitchenette area and are perfect for a combination booking for groups of up to seven people.

Each room has a lounge and a King-size or double-bed. The bathrooms have a shower, basin and toilet.

The rates at Saxon Lodge are valid until 31 December 2024 and include breakfast (room-only rates are also available).

Superior Rooms

• R2,700 per night (double occupancy)
• R1,800 per night (single occupancy)

Standard Rooms

• R1,650 per night (double occupancy)
• R1,150 per night (single occupancy)

Family Suite

• R3,200 per night (sleeps four)

The Courtyard @ Saxon

• R1,200 per night (double occupancy)
• R840 per night (single occupancy)

Please Note:

• Children between the ages of two and 12 - 50% off the regular rate
• Children under the age of two - no charge

Wedding Facilitator

Saxon Lodge offers the exclusive services of a ceremonial facilitator for weddings and vow renewals.

The lodge’s owner, Caron Lee, will work closely with you to craft new-age vows that are as unique as the love you and your partner share.

Please note: Caron specialises in wedding facilitation and does not handle legalities or administrative tasks.

Baywatch Cottage

Saxon Lodge manages Baywatch Cottage, a luxury three-bedroom self-catering beach house in De Kelders, just outside Gansbaai. 

Boasting unsurpassed views of Walker Bay and the surrounding mountain ranges, Baywatch Cottage is ideal for relaxing holidays at the coast for families, groups of friends and couples.
