Strandskloof Caravan Park is set in nature along the scenic Baardskeerdersbos road just outside Gansbaai. Hugged by the Franskraal Mountains and boasting magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean, the spacious campgrounds at Strandskloof Caravan Park are immaculate. Resort-style luxuries include wheelchair-friendly ablutions, swimming pools, a putt-putt course, and a laundromat. There is also a camp cafe at Standskloof Caravan Park that stocks all the essentials. During the school holidays, campers can enjoy movie nights with popcorn as well as braai and potjiekos competitions, 4x4 events, the Mr and Mrs Strandskloof Pageant and Christmas lunch with “Kersvader”. Pensioners qualify for discounts and can opt to camp in the tranquil V.I.G (very important grandparents) camp area. Please note that Strandskloof Caravan Park does not allow pets.

Rates

The rates at Strandskloof Caravan Park are as follows:

High Season (long weekends and public holidays 2023)

R600 per plot per night (four people and one vehicle)
R80 for each additional person per night (maximum of six people per campsite)
R40 for each additional vehicle per night (maximum of two vehicles per campsite)

Out of Season (2023)

R450 per plot per night (four people and one vehicle)
R80 for each additional person per night (maximum of six people per campsite)
R40 for each additional vehicle per night (maximum of two vehicles per campsite)

Winter Season (2 May until 31 August 2023)

R320 per plot per night (four people and one vehicle)
R80 for each additional person per night (maximum of six people per campsite)
R40 for each additional vehicle per night (maximum of two vehicles per campsite)

High Season (December holidays 2023 / 2024)

*minimum 10 nights over Christmas and New Year

R650 per plot per night (four people and one vehicle)
R80 for each additional person per night (maximum of six people per campsite)

Pensioners - Rates

Pensioners, Please Note:

Pensioner rates are only applicable in the monthly campsite, next to the main camp
The pensioners’ camp has full access to all of Strandskloof Caravan Park’s amenities
Minimum stay of two months over the three-month high season

Pensioners - High Season (valid pensioners card or 65 years and older)

R400 per plot per night (two people and one vehicle)
R80 for each additional person per night (maximum of four people per campsite)
R40 for each additional vehicle per night (maximum of two vehicles per campsite)

Pensioners - Out of Season (valid pensioners card or 65 years and older)

R250 per plot per night (two people and one vehicle)
R80 for each additional person per night (maximum of four people per campsite)
R40 for each additional vehicle per night (maximum of two vehicles per campsite)

Pensioners - Monthly Rate (maximum stay - three months)

Monthly Rate - R2,250 (two people and one vehicle)
Winter Season (May until August) - R2,750 (two people and one vehicle)
High Season (November until January)- R4,500 (two people and one vehicle)

Children - Rates

Please note that children from the age of two years pay full price at Strandskloof Caravan Park.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

50% of the total accommodation account is payable as a deposit and should be paid before, or on, the date that will be stipulated when booking
Failure to pay the deposit will lead to the cancellation of your booking without prior notice
Deposits will not be refunded in the case of a cancellation
