Every legendary seaside village boasts a bustling harbour pub, and The Boathouse Pub & Restaurant is Gansbaai's gem!
The Boathouse, which opened in 2013, is situated in a historic building that has housed a harbour pub for many years.
Charmaine Cooke took ownership of The Boathouse in 2023 when she relocated to Gansbaai from Fochville. She and her fiancé Willie had visited the area often on holidays and when the restaurant was put on the market, decided to buy it.
When Charmaine isn’t serving clients and cooking up a storm, she enjoys taking her dog for long walks on the beach.
The Boathouse Pub & Restaurant has it all - refreshing ice-cold beers, brandy specials, relaxing cocktails and rounds of shooters to party!
A corkage fee is charged if you bring your own wine for dinner at the restaurant.
