Visions Styl’n Chic made quite a name in Gansbaai’s beauty and wellness industry since Melody Dean took ownership of the salon in 2016.
Over the years, the salon has won numerous international and local hair and beauty competitions.

When they aren’t pampering clients, Melody, Gail, Elsa and Elandré share their passion for their community by being involved in fundraising incentives that enrich the lives of others.

Melody inherited her love for hair and beauty from her mother, who was a hairstylist. She followed in her mom’s footsteps, qualifying at Cape Town College in 1997.
Melody lives out her passion for hair, colour and creativity by using her clients’ hair as an artistic canvas. She lists working with the Wella crew at the AFI Fashion Week in 2020 as a standout moment in her career. Qualifying as a Wella Master Colour Expert in 2023 is a lifetime achievement, as the award is the highest hair accolade at an international level.
Qualifications & Course Accreditations:
Gail Gibson has over a decades-worth of hands-on hairdressing experience and works closely with Melody as her assistant.
From hair washes and head massages to colour and treatment applications, Gail’s magic touch will leave you looking and feeling great.
In-House Training & Accreditations:
Elsa Le Roux qualified as a nail technician and beauty therapist in 1985. Since then, she has continued to add to her qualifications to ensure she remains a specialist in her field. She is an international professional educator in all areas of nail technology.
Her career has taken her abroad, including a nine-month stint as a nail and beauty therapist on a luxury cruise liner where she pampered elite clientele.

Elandré Hans is the first friendly face you will see on arrival at the salon. Being a bubbly people-person, she strives to make clients feel welcome the minute they walk through the door.
Elandré has won various accolades and awards as Melody’s model in top local and international hair and beauty competitions.
Melody and her Visions Styl’n Chic assistant Gail are highly skilled and will listen to your needs. The two are always ready to give you sound advice on styling and different haircuts that will look great on you.
Elsa will make sure you put your best foot, and hand, forward at Visions Styl’n Chic.
