Whalescape Accommodation is part of the Whale Cove apartments located on the De Kelders beachfront in Gansbaai. Your very own private balcony has an amazing 180 degree view of Walker Bay and the Hermanus mountains in the distance. The accommodation is conveniently located and a mere 160 km from Cape Town. Whale Cove is built on the cliffs of the De Kelders caves and a trail leading right past your doorstep leads to “The Plaat” Nature Reserve and the endless sandy beaches that lay beyond.
Our Accommodation
The apartment has 3 bedrooms and can sleep a total of 6 persons. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a toilet, where as the other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath and a toilet. Rates are as follow: • R1500 per night for Unit (In Season) • R800 per night for Unit (Out of Season) • R900 per night for Unit (Weekends Out of Season) Minimum of two nights per stay.
A Little Bit about Gansbaai
The area is known for its unique and awe-inspiring land-based whale watching along with stunning views and sunsets. Gansbaai has also made quite a name for itself with its Great White Shark Cage Diving. These two incredible marine animals draw visitors from all over the globe each year and has thus given Gansbaai the name of Big 2 Town.
