Buchu Cottage has stunning mountain views from its location on Witkrans farm. This private cottage has an indigenous fynbos garden with its own lawn area. A pathway leads directly to a swimming dam nearby. There is a small indoor fireplace with a fully equipped kitchen as well as an outside covered stoep area with a braai. The cottage is family friendly with games and kids books. Well behaved pets are allowed.
Added extras are a supply of coffee, tea and a complimentary crate of wood with firelighters (more wood is available to purchase on request).
The cottage sleeps four and has two bedrooms which share a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. Bedding and bath towels are included.
Room 1: Double bed and has its own small balcony facing the Witkrans Mountains.
Room 2: Two single beds.
Cone Bush Cottage is an old forestry house from the Kogelberg Nature Reserve that was demolished and transported to Witkrans where it was lovingly restored. The cottage boasts an indoor fireplace and the open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen. A private pathway leads directly to the nearby swimming dam. A covered stoep with braai area looks out towards the Flower Valley mountains with stunning mountain views. Get down to some serious star gazing from the comfort of your very own wood-fired hot tub out in the garden, which also boasts a fire pit with a cosy cushioned seating area.

A 50% deposit is required on confirmation of booking with a minimum two night stay over weekends.
There is lots to see and do while on your visit to Witkrans Farm. Take long leisurely walks on the property which is also a hotspot for birding. Keep a lookout for the Knysna Woodpecker and the Blue-mantled Flycatcher. We have a variety of hiking trails on the farm as well as part of the our slackpacking hiking trail, The Fynbos Trail which our guests are welcome to walk sections of. We also form part of our conservancies Klipspringer MTB trail. The property is well located for easy access to neighbouring De Uijlenes (wedding venue), Murasie (wedding venue), Walker Bay Fynbos Klipspringer MTB trail and Platbos (day hikes in a beautiful indigenous forest) as well as being just 15 minutes from beautiful beaches at Franskraal and Stanfords Cove in De Kelders. Only 15 minutes drive into Gansbaai or Stanford. Lomond wine farm is also 5 minutes down the road and open for tastings.
