21km, 10km & 5km
We have hired buses to take you from Hickory Shack (registration and finish) to start of the 21km and 10km. Entries are limited to 500 so there is a chance that there will not be entries left on the day, enter now to avoid disappointment.
21km
A short warm up loop takes you through the pine forests at the top of Lebanon Forest. Runners then cross into the upper section of Lebanon Trails were you will enjoy a spectacular view of the highlands plantation and the Elgin Valley below. Sticking to the forests you will follow the contour of the valley around Lebanon Forest before descending towards Lebanon Dam. You will then take a little detour on the contour path running along the river line through the orchards and forests that epitomise the Elgin Valley, ending at Hickory Shack. There is a good chance your shoes will get a little wet at the end!

5km
This Fun Run is for those of you that want to be part of the vibe and take in the beautiful sceneray. The route will take you around Lebanon Dam. It is a pretty route with very little uphill but guaranteed to deliver the fresh forest feel. You should easily be back in time to cheer on the 10km and 21km runners as they come in to the finish. There is a calvert which is used to cross under the Highway and your feet will get wet on the way in and out.
There will be no timing on this route but the top male and female will be awarded a prize. We have not created a route profile for the 5km. Trust us, it’s flat.
Join us at Hickory Shack for food, drinks, prize giving and a great vibe after the race.
Please note that this is not a circular route, the start and end are in different places. All competitors are expected to park at Hickory Shack. Shuttles will transport the 10km and 21km runners to the start of their race.
Your feet are bound to get wet crossing the streams near the finish (all routes) so bring a dry pair of shoes and some warm clothes for afterwards so you can enjoy a bite to eat at prizegiving .
We have arranged for a bus to transport racers from Hickory Shack to the Start before the race. The cost of the bus and permits are included in the entry.
