R.A.D focuses mainly on outreach work in poorer communities and facilitating sterilisation of domestic animals in Botriver and Grabouw in the Theewaterskloof Municipality, Western Cape.
To date, we have sterilised over 5 000 domestic animals via monthly spay days and sterilisations at our vet. We also assist the community with subsidised veterinary care, which includes operations such as leg amputations, broken legs, eye operations, and blood transfusions in the case of Biliary and general health care.
Our aim is to maintain a constant presence in Botriver and Grabouw, following up on patients, making lists for sterilisations, assisting with information on animal care and keeping an eye on the pets in our communities.
