ViewProtect has strict regulations for the standards and

specifications of our polycarbonate products. We only buy from

ISO regulated companies. We also make use of an independent

test laboratory (University of Stellenbosch Institute of Structural

Engineering) to do materials testing on our polycarbonate

products before we allow these products to be sold as a

ViewProtect transparent burglar bar. ViewProtect is in the

process of registering as an ISO 9001:2008 company and have

our stage 1 audit be performed.

Warranty

The warranty entails that the polycarbonate bars will not stain

under normal circumstances and when cleaned according to

the recommendations on the packaging.

The uniqueness of the ViewProtect Armed Bar product is the fact that

we have been able to combine two different security products i.e. alarm

system and transparent physical barrier, resulting in the development

of an ultimate security product. The weakness of the one product is

strengthened by the other products properties.

The following needs have been identified in the security industry that has

led to the development of the Armed Bar:

• A reliable alarm sensor that will not trigger false alarms;
• A permanent alarm protection, even when the premises is occupied;
• Alarm protection available in areas where it was not previously possible
• E.g. bathrooms, occupied bedrooms, etc.
• A physical strong barrier;
• An aesthetically pleasing barrier.

This Armed Bar technology makes it possible to develop new ground

breaking security barriers that do not have a negative impact on the

aesthetic value of a property.

One of ViewProtect newest products is a transparent retractable security

gate, ClearTrellis, which will also have the option to be connected to any

alarm system.
