Stay in one of our lovingly restored self-catering cottages and enjoy peaceful walks, beautiful scenery and the charm of a working farm around you. It is the perfect place for hiking, mountain biking, splashing in the river, swimming in the weir or just relaxing in beautiful surroundings and reading a book. For younger children, there is a play area with swings, a large jungle gym and a trampoline. For teens, there is a games room with table tennis, snooker and foosball.
Elandskloof Farm Cottages all have a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, fridge, microwave and a dishwasher. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Willow Cottage R 2,600-00 per night, a large cottage which can sleep 7 – 9 people. 2 Bedrooms with queen beds with en suite bathrooms, and a 3rd bedroom which sleeps 3 with a bunk-bed plus a single bed. There is another bunk-bed in the walk-through study area, a 3rd full bathroom (bath only- with a hand-shower), and a guest loo. Willow Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, spacious lounge and dining room both leading onto the verandah and a beautiful private garden. For winter there is a lovely big fireplace in the lounge. Willow is situated close to the play area and games room.
Elandskloof Thatched Cottages are situated on the East section of the farm and are in two clusters a short distance from each other. There is a newly built boma braai area for those guests who would like to have a communal braai.
4-Sleeper Thatched Cottage R 1,400-00 per night, sleeps 4 people and has 2 bedrooms both en suite. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two single beds. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen which opens into the dining and living area and there is a fireplace in the lounge.
6-Sleeper Thatched Cottage R 1,600-00 per night, sleeps 6 people and has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bathroom. A bunkbed is situated in the living area and there are two single beds in the loft. There is a 2nd full bathroom. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen which opens into the dining and living area and there is a fireplace in the lounge. Please note that these cottages (4 and 6 – sleeper) are semi-detached.
7-Sleeper Thatched Cottages R 2,000-00 per night, is a freestanding cottage which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds (one bedroom is en suite) and the 3rd bedroom has a bunk-bed and single bed (sleeps 3). The 2nd bathroom is a full bathroom with a shower over the bath. Open plan kitchen in to living area.
Bachelor Cottage R 800-00 per night, is a cute little cottage with an open plan sleeping (queen bed) and living/kitchen area, with a separate bathroom for 2 guests sharing.
Elandskloof Riverside Cottages are 5 newly built houses in a cluster together on the other side of the river, near the swimming weir. Each “house” comprises of an upstairs 2 sleeper unit with a separate entrance, and a downstairs cottage which sleeps 4 – 6. The Riverside Cottages have their own braai boma with an undercover braai area for communal eating. Each unit also has their own braai.
Upstairs Riverside (sleeps 2) R 800-00 per night, are cosy “bachelor style” flatlets which sleeps 2 guests in an open plan sleeping (queen bed) and living area. Each flatlet has a balcony with lovely views of the farm and surroundings.
Downstairs Riverside (sleeps 4 – 6) R 1,500-00 per night, beautiful cottages with 2 bedrooms (queen and 2 single beds) and one full bathroom (with shower over the bath). There is a bunk-bed in the open plan lounge area. The living and kitchen area are open plan. The Riverside Cottages can be booked separately at the rates above, or you can book the upstairs and downstairs combined as one cottage and the discounted rate will be R 2,100-00 per night.
