Since I can remember, all things art have captured me. My life has been spent learning, playing and absorbing creative expression. Mudcakes and colouring as a bairn, drawing, sewing and painting as a teen, ceramics, sculpture, painting, drawing, teaching as an adult. Mostly self-taught, I have had classes with prominant South African artists: Lorette Espi, Cornelia Smook, Hannes Van Zyl and David May; online courses with Virtual Art and AP Art training (US College Board).
For the past 14 years I have worked and lived as a professional artist and art teacher in a private and international capacity. As a teacher I have taught over 500 students (children and adults) to paint and draw, and have presented countless workshops (en plein air) in and around the Cape province.
