The Generation Schools Hermanus campus was established in 2017 and forms part of a group of schools that caters to students from the ages of 18 months to exit.
What Makes Generation Schools Different?
- The curriculum is structured to enhance each child’s natural developmental patterns and talents in order to support the individual growth of each student
- The learning-rich environment is equipped with multi-sensory materials where knowledge is experienced and taught

- The provision of a vocationally focused education, where children are equipped with future employment capabilities, ranges from business and technology to sports and the arts
- The Cambridge curriculum offers IGCSEs, AS, A and A2 levels, with international matriculation that is recognised globally
- The vocational exit focuses on themes as opposed to subjects
Leadership
Nikki Malcomess heads Generation Schools Hermanus.
As an educator, Nikki supports the Montessori system of education within a Cambridge framework and her students are encouraged to inquire and be curious about their knowledge acquisition.
Years of experience working in international schools across London, Hong Kong and Mauritius has resulted in a profound understanding of the power of education and the opportunities it provides.
Nikki believes that education should be about offering students as many pathways to individual choice as possible, and is proud to lead her group of learners in a community she loves.
