The Southern Cross

The Hermanus Astronomy Centre is a non-profit organisation that covers the celestial space stretching from Rooi Els to Gansbaai. Although focussed on the Overstrand area, Hermanus Astronomy Centre welcomes members from all areas of the globe who have a passion for the Moon, stars, planets, Galaxies, binaries, nebulae and deep-sky. Activities offered by the Hermanus Astronomy Centre include monthly zoom meetings, sidewalk astronomy sessions, stargazing sessions and educational outreach programs.
