We all go through tough times. It is a part of life. One of the purposes of life is to grow and to facilitate growth means that we need to exit our comfort zone. This is normally a very scary prospect and it takes guts and dedication to move beyond the safety of our comfort zone. Sometimes we lack the courage and initiative to move past our comfort zone. An adverse event may just serve as the catalyst we need to propel us to the next stage of our lives, especially if we are afraid to take that step. Sometimes, the universe brings adversity to awaken and capture our attention, especially when we have become too complacent.
If you accept that tough times are a natural part of life's seasons, it can prevent you from falling into depression.
Maintain a healthy perspective. Going through tough times does not mean you are not blessed. The Universe may be preparing you for something great. This preparation is often not easy, but it is the foundation for better things to come.

Tough times will introduce you to true friends who are drawn to you to aid you to discover your true purpose.
The best ideas tend to be conceptualised during tough times.
