Light - Movement - Emotion

Lize Art Gallery in Voëlklip, Hermanus, is fronted by well-known contemporary artist, Lize van der Walt. Lize works with acrylic and oil paint to bring her expressionistic artworks of seascapes and landscapes to life. To embody her semi-abstract and semi-realistic paintings, multiple layers and rich textures of poured paint, brushstrokes and palette knife marks are used. Through multiple layers of texture and depth, Lize takes spectators on a spiritual journey that is at the forefront of her contemporary art scene. Lize creates a multidimensional space at Lize Art Gallery, where a variety of thoughts and ideas coexist on canvas. Fellow artist Deirdre Botha showcases her collection of ceramic whales with Liza’s collection in Lize Art Gallery. Works are sold in the gallery, at art exhibitions and on Lize’s online website.
