The Overberg Quilters Guild was founded in 2000. We are a bilingual group that draws members from all around Walker Bay from Pringle Bay through to Betty’s Bay, Kleinmond, Hermanus, Gansbaai and all around the Bay to Pearly Beach, as well as the adjacent interior.
We meet once a month, on the third Monday of each month, and have a lively morning program of sharing, education and anything else quilt-related (and don’t forget the awesome tea!). We presently have over 60 members. We are happy to welcome those new to quilting but are also proud that so many experienced quilters are among our numbers.
We produce a raffle quilt every year to raise funds for a local charity.
