Overstrand Municipality has been notified by the Gansbaai South African Police Service (SAPS) of a planned march expected to take place in Masakhane next week.
At this stage, the Municipality has not yet received confirmed details regarding the route, date and time of the march. As soon as this information has been confirmed, it will be communicated to residents through the Municipality's official communication channels.
Residents are advised that the management of the march falls under the responsibility of SAPS. Overstrand Municipality's role is to provide support to SAPS and Public Order Policing (POP), where required, to assist with traffic management and municipal services.
