FIRE SEASON IS COMING - Get Ready
The fire season in the Overstrand started on 1 November.
Overstrand Municipality is aware of the tap water that is brownish in the Gansbaai area.
The issue has been resolved and the colour level at the reservoirs is already within the aesthetic standard. The colour of water in the reticulation network should stabilise within a day or two.
The water is safe for human consumption, and the water is still disinfected.
The Municipality will continue to monitor the situation.
