Gansbaai Celebrates 9 September (1998) with Cake!

Gansbaai Administration is celebrating more than two decades since their move to the current building in Main Street, Gansbaai.

At the time, a benefactor donated a beautiful cake to the staff to celebrate their day - a tradition that is still honoured.

Kat Myburgh, Area Manager, said that this year is the 23rd time that donor has donated a cake for this ‘birthday’. “Every year the cake is different and the staff love the delicious cake.

"We really appreciate the kind gesture and we are privileged to serve our residents from this building each year on 9 September.

"We are proud to look back and celebrate the official opening of the building in 1998," Kat said
