Media Release: Arts and Culture Funding Oppor...
The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport has opened its annual call for funding applications...
Mayor Annelie Rabie will continue her First Thursday’s initiative in Kleinmond on 7 April 2022 from 17:00 - 19:00.
This will be the first time the event will be held here and the venue is the Kleinmond Community Hall.
She will be accompanied by her Mayoral Committee Members, as well as the Municipal Manager, Dean O'Neill, and all the Directors. No appointments are required, and the public will be seen on a first come, first served basis. It is thus important to arrive early!
The purpose of First Thursdays is to find out, firsthand, how the Municipality can improve services and grow our economy, also, what other pressing issues residents here are encountering. It is a golden opportunity for residents to engage with both the political and administrative leadership of the municipality and residents are encouraged to attend the event.
Mayor Rabie also wants to make use of this opportunity to, in view of the recent fires we had, request those who wish to donate non-perishable food, clothing, towels and blankets to drop it off during the evening.
