R2S is a challenging triathlon from the whale watching waters of Hermanus, through the Hemel & Aarde valley wine route, culminating in the historic & picturesque Stanford village.

The finish line features a farm style market with local artisinal foods, wine, beer & river cruises offering a country side vibe with something for everyone!

The Route
  • Swim 1.9km: Sea swim with start & finish at Hermanus Harbour.
  • Cycle 90km: One lap cycle from Hermanus to Stanford via Caledon… over Shaws Pass.
  • Run 21.1km: 3 loop trail & tar run in and around the historic Stanford Village.
