Business Information

About

S Herholdt was started by RJ Herholdt as Herholdt Meubels in 1900.

In 1930 his son Faan registered the company, which had an outlet in Meintjies Street, Middleburg. This is where the trusted furniture franchise was born.

After studying marketing at the College of Cape Town, Stephan Herholdt joined the family business.

In 1997 he bought into the Top Carpets and Flooring franchise when he took ownership of the Hermanus branch.

After relocating to Hermanus from Graaff-Reinet in 1998, he opened the Hermanus branch of S Herholdt.

When he isn’t working, Stephan loves spending time with his family, enjoying the beauty of the Overberg.
