Meet Bob: Ginger Cat Looking for Forever Home

The Kleinmond Animal Welfare Society was established in 2001 by local Kleinmond resident Yvonne Pretorius.
Yvonne’s concern for the over-population of malnourished, mange-ridden and neglected dogs within the underprivileged community of Kleinmond was the driving force behind the organisation.
With the help of the municipality, the community and various animal-loving professionals, KAWS celebrates over 20 years of proactive pet care.
KAWS follows strict guidelines in assessing the suitability of the proposed new home and future family.
When you adopt, you save a loving animal by making them part of your family. You also open up shelter space for more animals.
By opening your home to foster a needy animal while it waits for placement, you introduce it to love and trust.
KAWS invites you to sponsor the upkeep of a cat or a dog (or both) living at the shelter.
For more sponsorship information, contact the KAWS team.
There is so much you can do to assist KAWS and the animals the team care for.
By donating your time (even an hour or two), you will help this organisation move from strength to strength. Volunteering opportunities include:
