After retiring from the creative side of advertising at the end of 2016, David Ross began a full-time painting career from his studio in Kleinmond. David specializes in large format that includes landscapes, portraiture, wildlife and still life in oils, gouache, charcoal, ink and mixed media.
Ann Green moved to Betty’s Bay in 2015 and creates her Overberg inspired artworks from her home studio. Ann hails from Stellenbosch and majored in Pottery in 1978. In 1987 she ran the Arts Department at Jonkershoek Forestry Station and after teaching herself to paint with oils in 2005 she found her passion and began focusing on creative media. Under the tutelage of the well-renowned artist Cathy Lane Milner, Ann began her full-time career as an artist in 2013.
When she learned to really see instead of just looking, Rita Brown began painting. Rita retired to Kleinmond in 2004 and is inspired by the beauty of the Overberg.
Every painting that Saniki Wessels paints is unique and she is currently showcasing Fynbos landscapes and the indigenous plants of the Overberg in her artworks. Saniki is a grandmother of four budding little artists who love to paint with her in her home studio.
After purchasing a small art store Tracy Lee Snyman discovered her passion lay in art.
